Awards I have Received at Coldwell Banker!
I am a Top Producer in my office and have had the honor to be counted among the recipients of various awards & commendations since joining Coldwell Banker in 2001. These include President's, Diamond & Bronze Societies; and, in the Tierrasanta Office, Top Listing & Sales Agent; Outstanding Performance Awards, and I consistently rank among the Top Ten Agents each month. I am very proud to be part of our "boutique" real estate office centrally situated in Tierrasanta, the "Island in the Hills." We participate and are sponsors of many fun community events such as the Patriots Day Parade, Community Garage Sale, and our exciting new event called "Taste of Tierrasanta" where all proceeds benefit worthy charitable organizations & schools located in Tierrasanta.
In my Former Life ...
Originally a "New Yorka," I grew up and attended college at Farmingdale SUNY, majoring in advertising art. I worked a few years in Manhattan doing the crowded bus and subway routine in the slush, rain, sleet and the muggy heat ... I finally escaped in 1980 and have been a happy San Diego resident ever since! I've lived at the Beach, spent a good portion of my life in the North County Inland area, eventually migrating to the Central County Inland area where I now make my home in Tierrasanta! Moving around has given me a diverse perspective on the many neighborhoods in San Diego. For many years, I enjoyed a career as a legal secretary, specializing in bankruptcy & real estate. I believe my "broad horizons" and colorful background bring depth to my social and professional skills.
What I Bring to the Table ...
My prior experience in the legal world enables me to look at real estate transactions with a special eye toward the details...because as they say, "the devil is in the details!" I pride myself in being conscientious in pre-determining potential problems. I'm a professional and a caretaker where my clients are concerned, and I like to treat everyone as if they were a friend rather than just a business deal! I also believe I bring creative thinking and enthusiasm to every level of a transaction - and I "play well with others" too! This means I treat the agents and others involved in my transactions with respect, and they in turn, enjoy working with me and consider me an ally in ensuring a smooth escrow and successful closing--so at the end of the day, everyone is smiling!
La Dolce Vita...
My main goal as a Realtor is in the best interests of the clients I represent, both sellers and buyers. Ultimately, the better a job I do in finding you a dream home or selling your pride and joy -- the better a reputation you will help me build among my new clients -- those you refer to me -- and building a good reputation based upon true concern, honesty and fair dealing is the cornerstone of success in any field and is the foundation for my own future in real estate sales. I take my job very seriously, and I am honored and privileged to be chosen as a representative in one of the most important decisions a person will make in their lifetime -- purchasing or selling their home.
Is there Life after Real Estate??
Anyone who know me knows that I am an animal lover. Two Basenjis (Shaka and Suddy) own me and hike with me daily at Mission Trails Park and enjoy weekly rides to Fiesta Island and Dog Beach (I usually do the driving)! For those of you unfamiliar with the breed, Basenjis are the "barkless" dogs, an ancient breed from Central Africa (though there is some speculation that they are actually from another planet and I tend to agree with that theory myself)! They are very unique and mischief is their middle name! They occasionally dress up and pose for my marketing postcards -- and boy is that fun -- not!! I also like to spend time playing tennis, badminton, rollerblading, checking out local theater.
Also, I am on this year's "Relay for Life" committee put forth by the American Cancer Society, a beautiful event that is a "grass-roots" neighboorhood effort driven totally by volunteers who want to help this worthwhile cause in a meaningful way. Please visit this website: www.relayforlife.org to find out what it's all about! I am very excited to be involved in this fun event which will be held in Kumeyaay Park in Tierrasanta on April 28, 2012. I'd love to have you on "my team." Contact me today to find out how you can participate!
